Who Is Shane Carberry?

I’m from a small town in the middle of Ireland called Tullamore — and after living most of my adult life in Dublin, I’ve found my way back here again.

I’m structured and focused when I need to be. But if you asked my wife, she’d probably say I’m one of the silliest, most easy-going people she knows. (Though, in fairness, she’s a bit biased.)

Truth is, I love a lot of things. And I think that’s what makes life rich — the mix of growth and play, reflection and action, ambition and rest.

That’s the kind of balance I help people find.

Not just success. Not just happiness.

But something real — and something that actually fits.

👋 Why Choose Me As Your Coach?

Coaching is personal. You’re not hiring a system — you’re choosing a person.

So here’s a bit more about who I am, where I’ve come from, and what I bring to the table.

  • Side-by-side images of two men. The man on the left is seated, wearing a red polo shirt with the number 23, looking down with a neutral expression. The man on the right is shirtless, flexing his bicep, taking a selfie in a mirror, and wearing black boxer briefs.

    💪 Health: The Active World

Back in 2015, I hit a wall. I’d lost weight, sure — but I realised there were huge gaps in what I actually understoodabout health and performance. So I packed my bags, moved to Canada, and threw myself into an intensive Strength & Conditioning program.

I trained with elite athletes. I learned from high-performance coaches.

And it completely changed how I think about the body, the mind, and what it really takes to create sustainable change.

These days, I don’t focus on personal training — but when someone needs support with health, energy, or stress, I’ve got the tools to help.

    I’ve helped people with:

    • Long-term weight loss (without the burnout)

    • Better sleep, energy and recovery

    • Reducing anxiety through simple, powerful daily routines

    • Making health feel doable again — not overwhelming

A few milestones of my own:

    • Lost 33kg in 6 months

    • Competed in elite-level powerlifting (490kg total at 64kg bodyweight)

    • Came back from depression after a tough breakup

    • Cut daily stress in half by changing how I used my phone (seriously, this one was huge)

I’m not about quick fixes or hustle culture. I’m about building systems that support the life you want — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

  • Three factory workers wearing safety vests, discussing safety procedures in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, with machinery and stacks of mailed packages in the background.

    🏭 Wealth: The Professional World

For most of my adult life, I’ve worked in operations — starting on the production line and working my way up to leading entire teams, delivering change programs across Europe, and coaching people to grow in their roles.

I wasn’t picked for those projects because I had the fanciest degree or the sharpest Excel skills.

I was chosen because I knew how to help people work through real problems, earn trust, and take action that mattered.

That’s what I bring to coaching, too.

Over the last 7+ years, I’ve:

    • Led change programs that saved companies hundreds of thousands

    • Helped people get promoted, switch industries, or find meaning in their current jobs

    • Blended long-term thinking with day-to-day actions that actually move the needle

If you want a coach who’s been in the real world — someone who knows what it’s like to lead, grow, and still feel stuck sometimes — I’m here for that.

    🌅 Home: The Fun World

I used to think life was just about the next goal. Push harder. Achieve more.

And I did — at work, in the gym, even in my relationships.

But it wasn’t until I slowed down and started making space for joy that things really started to click.

    For me, joy looks like:

    • Riding motorcycles at sunset

    • Getting greasy tinkering with engines

    • Cooking something new, or diving into a good book

    • Exploring music (still a beginner — and loving it)

Being fully present with my wife and son

We all need ambition — but we also need fun, presence, and connection.

That balance doesn’t happen by accident. It’s something we build.

If your life looks good on paper but doesn’t feel right, I get it.

    Let’s change that — together.
